Teak Nesting Tables with Cane Panels

Three tables, one footprint.

Each top is cut with a serpentine front edge, a soft double curve instead of a straight line and the aprons are filled with hand-woven cane on all visible sides. Turned legs taper to small bun feet, with stretcher bars running low between them for rigidity.

They tuck completely under one another when not in use, taking up roughly the space of the largest table alone. Pull them out and you have three surfaces: one beside each chair or all three lined up along a sofa.

The cane keeps them visually light. A set of solid wood tables this size would dominate a corner; these don't.
