Teak Oval Teapoy with Cane Side Panels

What It Is Made Of

The top is an oval piece of teak, and under it there is a second oval piece of teak sitting on the floor as the base, so the table has no legs at all. On both sides there is a teak frame shaped round in an oval loop, and inside each loop there is cane, the same open weave cane with the small holes that you see on old chairs, stretched tight inside the wood. The top sits between these 2 loops, and the space under the top works as a shelf for magazines, a book or the remote when you want the top kept clear.

Because there are no legs, there is nothing for your toes to hit when you walk past it. It also fits well in a small flat, in front of a sofa or between 2 chairs, because the oval shape has no corners to bump into.

Keep water away from the cane, and if something spills on it, just dab it dry with a cloth. The teak only needs a wipe with a dry cloth to keep the dust off.
